Admissions
If you are interested in finding out more about Clear Spring School, give us a call at (479) 253-7888 to set up an appointment with the Head of School who will tour you through the campus, introduce you and your child to teachers and answer any questions you might have. During this meeting you will discuss your child's learning styles, strengths and concerns, your expectations as a parent, and how the CSS learning environment will support your child.
You may pick up an application packet when you are here or ask us to mail you one.
Students entering K-12 are asked to spend a day at Clear Spring School to meet other students and teachers, and to get a feel of what the school environment offers. Preschool students should visit for a half-day. This requirement may be waived when school is not in session.
Acceptance Criteria
Parents, Head of School, teachers, and the student are a part of the decision making process. The Head of School has final say in all admissions decisions. All students who are new to the school are enrolled with a 90 day trial period that allows the new family and the school to decide if this is the best fit for the student and the program. Typically enrollment decisions are based-upon:
· Academic readiness or qualification
· Social readiness
· Appropriateness of the match between the student/family's needs and expectations and the school
· diversity and gender balance
· affiliation with the school
It is the policy of Clear Spring School not to discriminate on the basis of race, sex, color, religion, national origin, ancestry, sexual orientation, or physical or mental disability, which are unrelated to the ability to work or enjoy the benefits of the school's programs, facilities, or services. All persons are encouraged to apply.
